Georgia does have the same law FL does. Make sure SEGD or your AC follows up with them so it doesn't happen to someone else! and I'm so sorry you had to go through that. It is disturbing.CD McLeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10065520281670117652noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3361366785236945544.post-51623884268716793302011-07-18T11:12:44.334-04:002011-07-18T11:12:44.334-04:00That happened to us at a McDonalds when I first st...That happened to us at a McDonalds when I first started raising. However it was just the manager who had a problem the employees kept telling him he is a service dog it is okay for him to be in here. We left as to not cause a scene. As we were leaving several of the employees said to call 1-800-Mcdonald (from looking on their website it is 1-800-244-6227) We knew the person who was in charge of that region and so she took care of it. Most of the time they are either scared of dogs or just don’t know. Neither are a good reason to not be nice about it, but whenever I get kicked out of a place I am just happy that it was me and that I can call and explain the situation than for it to be a working guide dog or service dog. Part of our job as puppy raisers is to educate the public, which is sometimes not the easiest thing to do. I agree, I don’t know why they would turn down such a cute face!Rebecca, Ely and Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12628872186276774119noreply@blogger.com
